Representatives from Angola visited different organisations steering, gearing and implementing TVET and employment in Germany

From 10 to 14 December 2012, four delegates of the MAPTSS entities INEFOP and CENFFOR from Angola visited different German institutions working in the sector vocational training and employment. The visit aimed to:

o Give an insight into the cooperation between German public and private vocational education & training and employment entities.

o Get an idea about the organisation of initial and further training, of vocational orientation and of the support provided to young professionals in the labour market.

o Recognize the importance of vocational orientation and information.

The entities visited included: The chamber of crafts and trades and the Vocational training centre for construction in Düsseldorf, the National Institute of Vocational Education & Training (BIBB) in Bonn, the Agency for promotion of innovative employment in Bottrop, an employment office and a career development centre in Düsseldorf.
